One Month Old!

Bethany and her mommy. She was hungry, hence the crying. On that day she was sporting her newborn outfit that her Aunt Amanda gave her. She's just barely fitting into it now. She loved it and showed that by pooping on it shortly after we got home from church. Yes, the fun of 15 outfit changes in one day. What makes that worse is that she still doesn't really fit into her 0-3 month clothing. We're very limited in her wardrobe right now.

Bethany all bundled up to go to youth group. Last night was the first time she went, and she was the hit of the night. When we left, I put her back in coat and into the car seat, all of which she slept through. However, when I get her to sleep and gingerly put her down in the crib, she instantly wakes up. Go figure.

Weight Update

We went to the doctor yesterday for Bethany's one month wellness visit. She now weighs 7lbs. 4oz. and she's 21 in. long. Hopefully before too long she'll be in her clothes that are 0-3 months. According to the doctor everything looks great.

Bethany's First Month

We've had an eventful and uneventful month. Here are some pictures of what we've been up to.



Bethany finally got to meet her cousin, Elijah. He wasn't too excited with her. She doesn't do much yet and doesn't make a very good playmate. Bethany and her daddy taking a nap.

Here's Bethany before one of our outings to the Doctor's (about the only place we go anymore). I think she kind of looks like a rapper. Maybe that means she'll like to play dress up.

We've had lots of visitors throughout this first month. Bethany on her Billi light. She had jaundice and had to be on the light for a couple of days. Luckily, that's all behind us now. You can kind of see how yellow she was.

Bethany's Birthday!

After being in labor since Christmas night, Bethany Madalyn was born on December 27th at 2:28 a.m. She was just a little thing and weighed 6 lbs and 3 oz. She was 18 inches long. Here's some pictures of her first few hours of life.
