We had a busy, but fun, Easter weekend. About a week after my last post, Bethany went to one nap a day. It didn't seem like she would anytime soon, but she surprised me. Easter was a long weekend for us, and it's all catching up to her today. So hopefully we'll be back on track now.
She still walks with support: either she'll hold onto your fingers or walk with the walking toy. She loves her squeaky shoes that squeak when she walks. That sometimes encourages her to walk. I guess she does like to walk places now. She just demands that I walk her there. Once she grabs your finger, she doesn't let go. I think all the pictures tell you what else we've been up to.
I was playing around with my camera settings and took this one day. I think it turned out nice.
She thought it was quite funny when we put the bucket on our heads. I was surprised she was willing to crawl around considering she couldn't see where she was going.
I left her playing in the pantry while I put away groceries. I figured she couldn't get into to too much trouble. Well, I found out she could reach the shelf that had the puffs on it.
The obligatory Easter egg picture. Bethany didn't help dye eggs. Mommy and Aunt Amanda did it while Bethany was taking a bath. Next year she'll be helping.
She's likes to feed herself with spoon. I have to dip it into whatever she's eating, and then she puts it in her mouth. It's not the cleanest process, but she's learning.

Bethany is opening her basket from her adopted, Grandma Diane. It's a good thing she didn't get through that wrapper to the chocolate. She didn't think the foil tasted good, and didn't want anything more to do with it.

We also got to experience Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Cherie's petting zoo.

Bethany had her first encounter with baby chicks. She liked it so well, she grabbed right for it and almost pulled it's head off. It was jerked away, but her little lip started to stick out farther and farther until she started crying. She didn't know what had happened.
The baby chicks. WATCH OUT FOR BETHANY!
Here was a chicken she couldn't hurt.
