Oodles of Pictures

Here's a big long update for you. Bethany and I have been sick the past couple of days. The doctor said it was just a virus, and Bethany is feeling much better today. I never felt as bad as Bethany. She had a fever, and I never did. We're both on the mend now, though. From these pictures you can see what keeps Bethany busy everyday. She's still not walking, though. She'll walk on her knees, which I think is harder than regular walking, but whatever. Enjoy our oodles of pictures.

Bethany found the Rush Hour game that had been sitting undiscovered for quite some time.

Doesn't that look just scream guilt, either that or she knew I would take it away.

After switching over a load of laundry, I came back upstairs to find Bethany's pants in her hands. I'm not sure how she got them off.

She's inspecting her Valentine's Day card.

And now she's getting an even closer look.

Daddy and Bethany.

Here's one of Bethany's many daily tasks. She must empty the cupboard. Shane fashioned a piece of wire to hold the doors closed. There's no playing in there these days.

She wanted something on the table and couldn't quite reach, so she just stepped in the basket. That solved her problem.

She was trying to crawl around and bring her blankie, but that wasn't really working for her. I draped it over her shoulders and she thought that was great.

Here's her Hollywood starlet pose.

She's "helping" me with a shipment of Mary Kay I had just gotten.

Playing in her tunnel.

This is from this morning. Clearly she is feeling better. That baby in the mirror was funny.

Still Exploring and Growing

Bethany is growing and getting into more and more everyday. She is getting closer to walking. She'll walk around now holding onto our fingers. But once you try to let go, she's immediately down to her knees. She has also begun to throw little temper tantrums. It usually happens when I take her away from something she wants to play with. Most of the time that's one of our nightstands. She throws herself backwards and makes it very hard to pick her up. Fortunately, they don't last long.

She definitely belongs to me. My side of the family has a love of Pepsi.

Here's her, "I'm getting into something" look.

Daddy styled her hair after her bath. She's reaching for the camera. A lot of our pictures look like that nowadays.
She's in her blue tunnel all folded up. When it's expanded, she loved to crawl back and forth. Just a side note: I do fit in the tunnel, as well as Shane. It's very good exercise to try to squeeze through it.
She's wearing one of daddy's hats and playing with his phone.
